Great Mediterranean food should be for everyone. This page explains how we create the recipes and articles on Azul Nomad, and what you can expect from us.
Who writes the content
Azul Nomad is written by Sam and Isabeau, who live in the village of Alcalali in Spain. Our recipes and stories come from everyday life in our Mediterranean home, from the markets, kitchens and traditions around us, and from our own garden.
How we develop and test recipes
- We cook every recipe in our own kitchen before we publish it.
- We write the method as clearly as we can, with quantities and timings you can follow.
- Where there is a traditional version of a dish, we tell you what it is and explain where our version differs.
- We take our own photographs of the dishes we make, wherever possible.
Accuracy and sources
For ingredient guides and background articles, we check facts such as origins, definitions and storage advice against reliable sources before we publish. We try to be clear about what is tradition, what is personal preference, and what is general guidance.
Corrections and updates
We review and update older posts from time to time, for example when we improve a recipe or find an error. If you spot a mistake, please email hola@azulnomad.com and we will look into it and correct it where needed.
Independence
Our recommendations are based on our own experience. Advertising and affiliate links help cover the costs of running the site, but they do not decide what we write. Please see our Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure for details.
